Registration creates user in auth0 DB but not wordpress DB

Newbie, installed wordpress on clean Ubuntu 22, activated auth0 plugin, went through setup, new app connected to new auth0 email / password DB.

Registering via browser creates user in the auth0 DB, but not the word press DB. Get login error until new user is manually created in wordpress:

There was a problem with your log in: Could not create user. The registration process is not available. Please contact your site’s administrator. [error code: unknown]

Is my wordpress setup wrong?
Is it a plugin bug?

Sign up is working ok, but if the user is not yet available on the Wordpress database, it does not create the users there. How do I fix this? Login and Sign up using existing Wordpress users are fine though. I need to know how I can debug this. I am trying to fetch it using wpa0_user_created and auth0_user_login but I can’t seem to debug it.

Never mind, solved.
I needed to enable new user registration on on the wordpress side.
