The page with continue to login normally take us to okta cic login page and then we can enter username. However, in Chrome from one of my Macs and only from the okta cic dev instance, it redirects to a page with the following screen
If I use another Mac and I don’t have the issue. For the Mac that has the issue, I have tried with Incognito mode and it works. I cleared all cache and settings and updated to the latest Chrome and still got into that screen.
I tested Safari, MS Edge and they all work fine. Does anyone know what’s the issue? Thank you
Reading through your use-case, it is a very specific issue that is likely related to the either the Mac itself or to Chrome. Would it be an option to try a hard refresh and also a re-install of Chrome, in case that helps?
I would also suggest that you look into the tenant’s logs, as this event should show up an provide some information as to why it failed. You can filter the tenant logs after different events, which should also help pin-point the exact event.
Let me know if the above steps worked and if you found more details in the tenant’s logs.
To “redirect to Something Went Wrong” without user input, you can trigger a redirect loop in your browser or on a website by trying to access a page that has a broken or incorrect redirect, clearing your browser’s cache and cookies, or temporarily disabling certain website settings like WordPress plugins. You can also block all pop-ups and redirects in your browser’s settings, which could cause pages to fail with an error message like “Something Went Wrong”.
