Last time I looked at the PhoneGap quickstart (about the time of your post) it was outdated. If you want to use Hosted Login Page in a PhoneGap/Cordova App then I’d recommend you have a look at using the auth0-cordova library ( and the Ionic 2+ Quickstart as a guide for how to get it working… I’m not using Ionic but it was still the only quickstart that pointed me in the right direction.
