At Auth0, we’ve been working on extending Auth0 Teams to allow for much-needed programmatic management of Team members and their access to tenants. This also includes the much-requested ability for tenant creation.

@Bola I asked support about the api and they sent me this which is a much smaller set of apis then your link. Is support just missinformed?

Please note the following limits for the API:
API Token Generation

Supported Scopes

  • Create:Tenants

  • Delete:Tenants

Limited to two api endpoints

  • Create:Tenants

  • Delete:Tenants

Rate Limits

Create Tenant Endpoint

  • 2 requests per second

  • 10 requests per day

Delete Tenant Endpoint

  • 1 requests per second

  • 5 request per day

That was when we kicked off the initial Beta, we have added more end points as you can see in the Github link, the rate limits are still in place.

Once they turn on the feature flag the details of the api can be found on this page. (https://accounts.auth0.com/ → click Settings)

Thanks for sharing this update! Programmatic management of teams, members, and tenant creation is a valuable addition. Looking forward to seeing this API mature and become generally available. Excited to test the beta and follow future improvements.

Auth0 Teams API (Beta) can be used to programmatically manage teams and their associated tenants, making it easier to automate tenant provisioning, configuration, and administration. Since the API is currently in beta, I’d recommend reviewing its supported endpoints and limitations carefully before using it in production, and validating the workflow in a test environment first.
