No Email for Vkontakte?

I have read both topics associated with this behavior (1 and 2) and still can’t figure out why is that.

  1. Why is Auth0 connection not getting an email from VK users? Is this some kind of restriction? BTW, I am using WordPress plugin and all the competitors retrieve email (but lack some other features)
  2. How to implement this feature by ourselves? If this should be implemented by custom rules could you provide it? Even better if the rule will be available from Rule templates from Auth0 dashboard.
