New account created but locked out

I’m locked out of my new account after too many failed login requests.

I was unable to login after the following process:

  1. Created a new account using another email address (had to use this separate one to login to post this)

  2. while I was creating the account, a colleague invited me to join an existing team

  3. I received the join invitation email and clicked the link - and couldn’t login

  4. I then received the account validation email, and validated my account

  5. But I can’t login using the details from step 1 (I generated the password locally in a password manager, so know I am using the right username/password combination)

  6. Forgot password also doesn’t work, I never receive the OTP code

Please try to ask the Team Owner to go through the invitation flow exactly as described in this article once again - Team Member Invitation Fails and Enters Dashboard Login Loop.
