+1 it seems like a feature that is essential in many business scenarios. Not being able to verify the mobile number in pre user registration trigger seems like a problematic limitation. Imagine needing to validate that mobile numbers are from a certain country, or validate that a mobile number has been invited. I can see a lot of scenarios. The company I work for also has a scenario for this, and I am trying to work my way around it. Surprising that there is little movement on this
