M2M Application with different domains

Hello,

Is it possible to use the same machine to machine application credentials to authenticate with Auth0 between two web applications hosted with different domains?

For example, if i had a web application running under “abc.com” and another one under “def.com”, could I use the same credentials?

I get the feeling they might need to be different but I wanted to ask. Also, does the domain for the Auth0 tenant also affect this?

Hi @cpruden,

You should be able to, but why would you? Those sounds like two different apps, and using separate credentials provides a clear distinction about which app is making what requests, logging, etc.
