I’m on the free Auth0 plan, and I’ve been using Auth0 with one main tenant for my application. Suddenly, when I log in to the dashboard, it only gives me the option to create a new tenant. My old tenant and its settings (users, apps, etc.) are not visible anywhere.Key points:
I did NOT delete my old tenant or change the email account.
I am logging in with the same account and method (email/password.) as before.
My application’s login and logout pages now do NOT work for users.
When I log in, it takes me directly to a ‘create new tenant’ screen instead of showing my previous dashboard/tenant.
I want to recover my tenant and all data—clients, users, application config, everything. Please help answer:Why does my dashboard no longer show my tenant? How can I gain access to my previous tenant and get my data back?Is there any way to restore my tenant if it was deleted without my action? What should I check in my account/profile to find or recover my tenant?
Did it work for you? I’m also seeing same error, not able to see my existing tenant, asking to create new tenant. When I try to create new tenant, it gives API Error.
Hi everyone and thank you for posting about the problem you are facing!
It seems that we have multiple users affected by this, but rest assured, your access will be restored. Please allows us some time to investigate the issue and I’ll get back to you with an update.
We’re having same problems as well. Our tenant members list is empty (No admins assigned to the tenant) and I’m getting:
Error! There was an error retrieving the tenant members associated to the account, please refresh the page to retry. If the error persists, contact our support team at
We’re on B2C Essentials plan. Weirdly enough it doesn’t allow me to open a support ticket:
Access denied!
You need to have the new, Elevated Support Access role added to your user of an Auth0 tenant to access this resource
