Key error on SAML to Google Classroom

Key https://launcher.[domain].com/auth/initiate/[link] must not contain '.'

Here’s the thing -
I am trying to do a SSO using SAML to Google Classroom. Have everything setup nicely, if I use the sp initiated url, the connection works well. But if I use the icon created in google, I get the above error.

Here’s the tracking Id, if it helps. Do note, that I previously have setup multiple such connections and all of them seem to work just fine.

Although, I was able to create a workaround for this by not specifying the optional redirect url.
This however seems temporary, and would be nice to see this fixed.
