Hide Custom Social Connection buttons on Classic Universal Login

Is there a way to hide the Custom Social Connection buttons from the Classic Universal Login screen?

If so, what is the preferred way to accomplish this?

We have setup custom social connections, however they all utilize the “direct link” option as provided by this documentation:

We do [not] want want the buttons to appear on the Universal Login.

Any advice is much appreciated.

To confirm as you first write that you want to hide Custom Social Connection buttons and then at the end you say that you want them. You are using Classic Universal Login and want to not show Social Login buttons like Facebook etc. is that correct?

Whoops! Thanks, you are correct we DO NOT want the buttons to show.

We are using the “Custom Social Connection” extension, so not the built in social connections like Facebook, etc.

We also want to use the “direct link” option for users to login via a custom social connection (initiated from that social platform) but DO NOT want all users to see them in the New Universal Login screen (but we could switch to the classic if needed). Is this possible?

I assume this would be with allowedConnections on the lock for the Classic Universal Login? but we are using New Universal Login as Classic Universal Login seems to be discouraged? Is there a way to do it with the New Universal Login?
