Enable Single Sign On for a Legacy Tenant

Problem statement

Single Sign On between two applications in a tenant is not working as expected. The tenant was created more than 5 years ago.

Cause

Seamless SSO has been the default for new tenants since 2018. Tenants created prior to this change require SSO to be manually enabled.

Solution

The following instructions are only valid for tenants that were created prior to Seamless SSO becoming the default behavior in 2018.

  1. Login to the dashboard as a tenant member (Administrator).
  2. Navigate to Settings > Tenant Settings.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Scroll to the Log In Session Management section. Select the option Enable Seamless SSO.

Once this task is complete, configure the Session Lifetime Settings.
