Email validation rejects valid ".kids" TLD domain

I’m unable to set a Support Email in my tenant settings because the validation rejects email addresses with the .kids top-level domain, displaying the error: “Email” must be a valid email.

The .kids TLD is a valid ICANN-approved domain, but Auth0’s email validation doesn’t recognize it.

This blocks configuration of tenant settings and email-related features for organizations using newer TLDs.

Please update the email validation to support all ICANN-approved TLDs, including .kids.

Is there a workaround available in the meantime?

Hi @mauvsantos

Welcome to the Auth0 Community!

After doing some research, it appears that we currently do not have a standard workaround for such cases, the best thing to do is submit a Feature Request via our Feedback page to request this addition. Our Product team monitors the page and all posts can receive votes from other users, which can create urgency for the development of the suggested features.

From my understanding, for cases where the domain has been ICANN-approved, Auth0’s email validation logic has not yet been updated to include the target domain and results in the error that you are receiving. While I cannot offer an ETA, submitting the suggested Feature Request would be a great first-step.

Hope this helped!
