"Email" (passwordless) connection missing in Create User dashboard

As far as I know it’s not doable through the dashboard but yes you can create that using our Management API. In addition to what is said in our Management API explorer here’s a hint:

Create passwordless user - what connection?

I’m trying to create a new passwordless user through the management API, what ‘connection’ do I use? As the only named connections are database connections, and therefore I have to include a password - what gives?
