Dashboard users not requiring MFA, even after Auth0 announced MFA mandate?

Hi team,

I saw the community article about mandating MFA for auth0 dashboard access, but I don’t see this is applied to my tenant and admins I invited. My tenant is on B2C essential plan and the admin I invited use id/password. Based on the article, it seems that this admin user should enroll MFA before accessing auth0 dashboard, but the admin could successfully access Teams, Dashboard and Support Center without any MFA challenges. Could you please explain whether Auth0 still mandating MFA for dashboard (admin) members when they access the admin dashboard?

Best,
Heejae

The community article’s name is: Action required: Multifactor Authentication (MFA) for Auth0 by Okta Administrators. Very strange that I cannot add link to the post and reply…

Hi @heejae0704, and welcome to the Auth0 Community!

Please allow me some time to investigate, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks!
Teodor.

Hi again @heejae0704 !

Thank you for your patience. MFA enforcement is mandatory and staggered across new account creation after the first login.

Kind regards,
Teodor.
