Custom user registration

Hello!
We’re trying to implement this scenario :

  1. When the is signing-up, an email is sent to him containing an activation link;
  2. When the user clicks on this link, we would like to ask him some other questions to validate his identity. For example, let’s say his date of birth. We would not want to activate his account unless we have verified his date-of-birth (or some other info we know about him).

Can we acheive this easily with Auth0? If yes, can point to us some doc and sample configuration.
