Custom login template not working

Hi,

I was trying to customise my login page, so I went to Hosted Pages > HTML > Default Templates > Custom Login Form. I hit save, without changing anything. When I try to login with my google account, it doesn’t work, it keeps asking me to log in.

However, when I use the Lock (Passwordless) template, it works fine but this is not what I need.

Am I missing something?

Have you been able to go past this or does the problem still occur? Can you provide me with the screenshots how the process look like step by step (you try to logjn, hit the button, get the login message)
