Custom Database - How to use metadata?

I have set up a custom database connection and migrated my user accounts. The login authentication test works fine. When trying to login to my application, I get the following:

These lines in the login flow action are what is throwing the error. I added the custom database connection to the Organization, but these properties in the event are still not available.
