There is not a definitive timeline that I would be okay to share, however, I can let you know that it’s definitively something that is being active worked on so the next months should bring more concrete information about it.

Some time has gone by so I would say we are closer to having this generally available (this can technically qualify as news, might just not be the ones you wanted to hear so apologies for that). Having said that I still can’t share any definitive date. Regarding the second part, well, I won’t confirm nor deny that one… 
CNAME is in beta now and ready for testing for our paid customers. It will be in production very soon. This feature will be available for paid customs only.
