Hey,
Is there a way to disable the need for this “Verify Your Account” email ?
We manually setup the users login info and there is no need for it.
It just confuses the users…
Thanks!

Hi @shaishinez
Welcome to Auth0 Community !!!
Are you using Auth0 Dashboard to setup users ?
Thanks
Jeff
Hey,
Yes we create all the users ourselves manually via the dashboard.
Hi @shaishinez
Please see the GIF I attached which shows the steps of verifying email from the dashboard. This will stop Auth0 from sending verification emails.
Let us know if it solves your query.
Thank you
Jeff
Thanks for helping on this one Jeff!
Hey guys, thanks for your reply.
As I understand it, the verification email is sent the moment I create the user, no ?
So verifying the email ourselves manually will still not prevent that being sent to the user in the first place, right ?
Is there away to prevent the sending of the email ?
Thanks!
Hi @shaishinez
Manually creating user should not send verification email automatically. I tested in my tenant and it works the way I am describing. Please test in your tenant and provide feedback.
Thank you
Jeff
For us it does send the email automatically…
I’m sure of it because I’m the only one who create the users (all of them manually via the Auth0 dashboard) and I don’t even know how to send these emails.
@jeff0 @konrad.sopala
Any idea ?
I’ve tested it yet again just now.
I’m creating a user manually via Auth0 dashboard
Connection: username-password-authentication
Then pretty much immediately after that got an email from no-reply@auth0user.net with subject:
“Verify your email”
Is there some configuration I can change to prevent this ?
Hi @shaishinez
Please see the image attached. If you disable the email template for verification email auth0 will stop sending verification emails. Also do check other templates if not required simply disable those. let us know how you go with this solution.
Thank you
Jeff
