Azure Active Directory Connection Issue

I’ve setup a new Azure Active Directory connection following along with the tutorial here (Connect Your App to Microsoft Azure Active Directory). When trying the connection (using the Try link) I get taken to Azure AD and asked to login with my user (who is not an Azure admin). After logging in I receive a message saying “Need Admin Approval”, despite the fact the application has been approved by an Azure admin already.

Any ideas?
