Auth0 Authorization Extension with AWS S3 Buckets Error “The specified bucket is not valid”

Overview

The Auth0 Authorization Extension displays the error Oh Snap! The specified bucket is not valid when trying to use the Auth0 Authorization Extension.

Cause

In the Auth0 Authentication Extension Configuration window, the field S3 bucket is not correctly set.

Solution

1. Go to the Auth0 Management Dashboard
2. Open the Extensions tab.
3. Under the All Extensions tab, select the Auth0 Authorization Extension
4. Ensure the S3 bucket contains the name of the AWS S3 bucket (The bucket name can be obtained from the AWS Console Account on which the bucket was created).
