Adding consent and privacy checkbox to universal signin

Hello, I am looking for a way to add a consent (terms and privacy) checkbox to the universal signin page, we are currently using the new universal signin feature and it seems to me that we need to switch over the classic universal signin experience to be able to achieve this. Can I do this without anything breaking, and is it possible to add the checkbox with two seperate links (one for terms and the other for privacy) via the dashboard?

I apologize if this has been asked before, I couldn’t find anything relating exactly to my question!

Currently, New UL does not support TOS acceptance on the signup page. This may change in the future, but this is the current state.
