What kind of developer are you? Do you prefer to know the underlying details of OIDC, OAuth & co. or do you prefer to ignore them altogether? Are you a romantic or classical developer?

I think it depends on your attitude 
If these things are black holes and you don’t care to know more, you are a romantic developer.
If they are black holes to you at the moment, but you go out of your way to understand them at least a little bit, you are on your way to becoming a pragmatic developer
