Overview
Home Realm Discovery (HRD) does not work if a domain with subdomains is used to log in. Only the primary domain is listed in HRD in the domains list.

Cause
HRD looks at the full domain name to get a match.
Solution
Specify a wildcard (*) in the domain name, for example: *.domain.tld
