"Username" field during "Sign Up" returns email for the "name" property

I am having an integration issue with New Universal Login experience during the sign up.
I have enabled the toggle to capture the Username in database settings, so during the Sign Up, user will have to enter “username”, “email” and “password”. But what I am seeing is that for the “username” property, the Auth0 returns the “email” value instead of the “username”.

I would be appreciative if someone can help with this. Is it a real issue or I am missing something?

I’ve checked your tenant settings, and the connection is set properly. The Name value is the same as the Email, but Username and Nickname differ. You can check the detailed user description in the Auth0 Dashboard → User Management → Users.
