The best way to set a custom field?

Hello,

I would like to know the best way to set a custom field stored in user_metadata as unique?

I can make a call a lambda function to make a search and approve the signup but it looks like “hackfix”

Do you have any idea?

Hey there @congaconzz92, I apologize for the delay in response.

There are a couple of ways you can setup your unique custom field data for your users, no matter if it’s through the creation of the user through authentication API, Management API, or initial sign up. I have have included our documentation on User Metadata as a point of reference.
