I’m stuck in an Authenticator loop. I got a new phone so I was required to login back into everything again and when I tried to login to Okta it keeps asking to send a push notification or code etc. I’ve tried logging in through my laptop and it’s saying its sending a code to my phone yet I can’t get through because my app is locked because I need to verify causing me to just get stuck in a loop. Any help?
Hi @raficissak
Welcome to the Auth0 Community!
I understand that you are not able to authenticate in your tenant as you have a new phone which is not enrolled.
I noticed that you have mentioned that you are having this issue while logging in Okta instead of Auth0. Just to address this possibility, in case the issue that you are facing is Okta related, I warmly recommend reaching out to our team on the Okta Community and they will be able to further assist on that matter.
If the issue is related to Auth0, please send a DM ( Direct Message ) to @support forwarding all the information provided and confirming the email address of your Auth0 account and the name of the tenant where you are encountering this issue. You can click on " support" mentioned previously and should have the option of sending a message to the group. The DM creates a private conversation where more sensitive details can safely be shared with us for troubleshooting.
Best regards,
Gerald
Thank you for you response. Unfortunately I cannot access the page since I need to login with my Okta account but like I mentioned before i cannot get in, this is the only place I could find where to get help
Hi @raficissak
Thank you for the clarification!
If the specific issue that you are encountering is relate to the Okta account created under the same email address as the one used for your Auth0 Community account, while Okta provides the Product platform (Okta Verify app, IAM, SSO, etc.), individual account management, app access and access policies are handled by your organization or third-party service/app provider at tenant level.
Please reach out to your organization’s or service provider’s IT support or Help Desk so they can review the matter and provide further assistance.
For any other issues or requests, do not hesitate to reach out to us and we will gladly look into it for you!
Have a great one,
Gerald
