SSO when SAML Add-on is Configured in More than One Application

Overview

This article explains why a user is prompted for authentication when moving between applications with the SAML Add-On activated instead of the existing session being recognized.

Cause

The issue occurs because applications are linked to different database connections. For Single Sign-On (SSO) to function properly, both applications need to share the same database connection.

Solution

Ensure that the SAML-enabled applications are connected to the same database by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to Dashboard > Applications
  2. Open the Connections tab
  3. Select and apply the same database connection for both SAML-enabled applications
