SSO Dashboard App Dead?

I setup the SSO dashboard app with various apps and they all seemed to work as expected. The issue I have is that there hasn’t been a push to the github repository for over a year, the only authorization method is deprecated and can’t even be used. So this presents a few problems:

  1. There is basically no documentation on any of this so it’s all trial and error
  2. There is no authentication method per app, so once an app is added to the dashboard, any user with access to the dashboard sees the every app.
  3. Since issue 2 exists with no app level permissions, you could have multiple dashboards with proper access in the main tenant dashboard but you can’t install more than one instance of the app.

Are there any plans to have a supported dashboard app for auth0? Right now it seems we are stuck with an abandoned product with very limited capability.

Are you talking about the SSO Dashboard extension by any chance?
If yes, as you have mentioned, the support for the extension is quite limited and as far as my knowledge goes, the support for it is quite deprecated. I would recommend to submit a feature request on the community page regarding possible features to be included for it and have further documentation submitted for it.

Otherwise, there is the current supported feature for the SSO Dashboard which is available under an Enterprise plan, you can learn more about that here.

Not really sure what link you provided is even talking about as far as what dashboard. Would be quite useful to have images of what dashboard it’s even talking about especially when referring to two different login experiences. From what I can tell though, is it doesn’t appear to be an app dashboard but the main tenant dashboard, which is not the same thing at all.

Is it actually useful to make a feature request on a dead product? Are there just no plans to have an app dashboard available? This seems like a really basic feature that should exist for a product that handles multiple app logins via SSO.
