reset password page - display custom message to the user

Hi there,

We would like to display customised error messages during the reset password process. For example, if one of the underlying services fails or a requirement is not met (e.g. our own password policy check cannot validate the given password), then a relevant message will appear on the Auth0 lock message bar.

Could you point me to any relevant documentation or is there a solution out of the box for this functionality?

The answer to this question is this:

I’ve discussed this with the engineering team and unfortunately it’s not possible to send custom error messages to the password reset page at the moment. I have made a feature request for this, but currently there’s no ETA.

It was received by Auth0’s Developer Success Engineer in a support ticket we raised (31489).
