Request for Temporary Rule Editing Permission for Account Link Extension Migration

Hello,

We are using the Account Link Extension on the following tenants:

  • Production
  • Staging
  • Development
  • Testing

We received a notification to migrate our Account Link Extension Rule configuration by November 7, 2025
We need to move hard-coded sensitive values to Rules Configuration
However, Rules have been read-only since November 2024, preventing us from editing them

What We’ve Tried:

  1. Added configuration values to Rules Settings in testing tenant
  2. Attempted to fully migrate to Actions, but encountered issues with the existing Account Link Extension integration and it’s not working correctly

Request
Could you temporarily enable editing permission for our Rules so we can:

  • Replace hard-coded values with Rules Configuration variables
  • Test functionality in each tenant

Also, when will Rules be deprecated?

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi @m.torii

Welcome to the Auth0 Community!

Thank you for posting your question. While reviewing your tenant, I’ve noticed that your Auth0 Community account is connected to the tenants under the Enterprise agreement. The Community team is unable to perform any changes at the tenant level. Therefore, I recommend contacting your account TAM or opening a ticket at Auth0 Support Center. I will be the fastest way to get help in such a case.

Thanks!
Dawid
