Got a warning email about the link account extension, but we’ve already switched from the rule to an action, and the rule is disabled

I received the notification by email, but I use an action for the extension, and it already uses the data from environment variables in the action.
I have the rule, but it’s inactive.
Should I change or check anything?

You received the warning email because the old, disabled “Auth0 Account Link” Rule likely still exists in your tenant. The warning system probably detected the presence of this deprecated Rule, even though it’s not active.

Since you have confirmed that the new Action is in place and working, and the old “Auth0 Account Link” Rule is disabled, you are not at immediate risk, and your migration is correct. The email is just a precaution.

To resolve this and prevent future warnings, you can delete the old, inactive Rule.
