Removed Auth0 Community Posts and Improving the Customer Experience

A Quick Guide to How We Are Making It Easier to Find the Answers You Need

Our goal is to ensure that when you visit the Auth0 Community, you find the most accurate, relevant, and high-value information as quickly as possible.

To achieve this, we actively optimize our spaces to filter out outdated noise and elevate high-quality, actionable discussions. Here is a look behind the curtain at how we are managing community content to improve your search experience.

Why Are Some Auth0 Community Posts Removed or Consolidated?

We want to make it easier for you to discover important solutions to your top identity and authentication challenges. As part of our ongoing optimization process, posts may be removed or merged for a few key reasons:

  • Age of the Post: Our communities have a rich history, but technology evolves fast. Posts regarding legacy features or outdated versions that are no longer relevant may be phased out.

  • Accuracy: To ensure you can trust the answers you find, we actively remove posts containing inaccurate information or outdated workarounds that no longer align with best practices.

  • Duplication: It’s natural for multiple users to have similar questions. To prevent clutter, we will consolidate duplicate threads into a single, definitive discussion. Where applicable, we will also link these discussions directly to an official Auth0 Support Center knowledge article.

Best Practices: How to Write Optimized Posts

To get the most helpful responses from your peers and ensure your contributions remain a visible, permanent part of our community knowledge base, keep these quick tips in mind:

Do This :+1:

  • Be Specific: Include product features, error messages, and what troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried.
  • Be Vague: “Is anyone else experiencing issues today?”
  • Share Unique Insights: Detail your personal workarounds, code snippets, or real-world use cases.

Avoid This :-1:

  • Echo the Crowd: Reposting the exact same sentiment or answer someone else just gave.
  • Use Clear Formatting: Break up long paragraphs with bullet points or bold text to make it readable.
  • Walls of Text: Dropping lines of unformatted logs or text without structure.
