Passwordless authentication on just one of 7 applications?

Is it possible to configure only one (my mobile app) application of a total of 7 on the tenant with passwordless authentication? I know that passwordless creates a new connection and this connection will be enabled for the mobile app’s application. Will such a configuration confine the passwordless UX only to the desired application?

If I understand correctly, there are 7 applications in the tenant, and you want to configure one of them to use Passwordless authentication.

Here is what you can do:

  1. enable receiving one-time codes with SMS or Email.
  2. click on the “Application” tab to choose/enable the Application(s).

Then only the selected/enabled Application will use Passwordless authentication.
