Microsoft login - using auth0.com domain but says unverified?

I’ve integrated Microsoft login into my app. I’m not using a custom domain. However when I login, MS tells me the domain/app is “unverified”.

I’ve read this bit of the docs which discusses how to remove that label, but only in the context of custom domains. It doesn’t seem to acknowledge that this could happen when using a default Auth0.com domain.

What do I do here to remove it, without adding a custom domain?

Thank you in advance.

Hi @kkrp1,

Welcome back to the Auth0 Community!

Thank you for posting your question. I’ve researched it, and unfortunately, it’s impossible to unmark the unverified app without the custom domain on the Azure portal. You can follow the guide here to set up a custom domain for the Azure portal → Configure an app's publisher domain - Microsoft identity platform | Microsoft Learn.

Thanks
Dawid

Thanks @dawid.matuszczyk, I’ll do that, though it might be an idea to make the docs slightly clearer here since, as I described, it’s not clear that a custom domain is the only route to solve this.
