All API calls are insanely slow and time out most of the time.

Can you clarify which API calls you are making, in which region? You can view the status at https://status.auth0.com/. We had a slight issue with Logs and User indexing, which may be related. This has now been resolved. Logs and Users Indexing issues in US • Auth0 Status Page
