How do I validate field using external api using lock in sign up screen

Hi,
We would like to have more fields in sing up popup of auth0 apart from username and pwd and also we need to validate those field using external api,please help us and any suggestion

May I know is it possible to validate the custom field using external api(which sends the value is correct or not).

in short can we call external api in universal login lock file and get result

Not sure about this one as we don’t have that documented in our docs. Maybe someone in community already implemented such thing and shared it
