Help required for Action Required: Upgrade to TLS 1.2 or later

Hello,

Regarding this notification received from Auth0 to upgrade to TLS 1.2 or higher for all requests coming to Auth0.
We are using the Auth0 nodejs library for all auth0 communication. In this case, do we need to make any changes ?

Thank you

Hey there!

This FAQ can offer you some help in that matter:

Thanks for the link.
The doubt, we still have, is , we are not making direct http calls to auth0, but rather using the nodejs auth0 library to make the calls.
So, it would be of great help, if we could know, since which version of auth0 nodejs library, the TLS 1.2 version is taken care of ?
So we could know, if we need to upgrade the auth0 library version (This is the library we are using - GitHub - auth0/node-auth0: Node.js client library for the Auth0 platform.)

It would be really helpful, if someone could provide some insights on this.

Hey there!

Gotchya! Thank you for providing the context. What I would do here is to discuss it directly with the SDK maintainers by sharing that through the GitHub issue in the repo. Once you open it make sure to share the link here with us so we can ping the repo maintainers.

Thank you for the guidance.
We have opened an issue here - Support For TLS Version 1.2 · Issue #581 · auth0/node-auth0 · GitHub

Thank you
