Email MFA for user dont have smart phone

I have some users that don’t have a smart phone and they want to set up Email MFA.

If users want to enroll to Email MFA only, are they required to set up the Google Authenticator .

Hi @charles.nguyen-viet,

Yes, they will be required to set up the Google Authenticator as one of their MFA factors since email MFA is not a true MFA.

‘Email’ is not true MFA because it does not represent a different factor than the user’s password. For this reason, the dashboard will not allow ‘Email’ to be configured as the sole MFA factor.

I suggest checking out this knowledge solution as a reference.
