Is it possible to “disable signup” but still take advantage of hosted user sign up page? Ie using some sort of signed redirect from my backend to the sign up endpoint that then enables user sign up? Perhaps by using: Pre-User Registration ?

Open https://manage.auth0.com/#/
Select “Connections” in the left side menu
Select your connection (e.g. Database)
Click “settings”
Choose " “Username-Password-Authentication”
Click the “Settings” icon
Toggle “Disable Sign Ups” on.

Per my OP, I don’t want to allow self-sign up on the connection.
