Deploy CLI failed on updating databases due to ManagementApiError: Connection attributes are only compatible with New Universal login experience

we are trying to use deploy CLI to import from dev tenant to test tenant, but the import failed when updating database:

2024-12-09T20:12:44.502Z - error: Problem updating databases {“name”:“Username-Password-Authentication”,“id”:“con_Vua0O07F2pie8pBz”}
ManagementApiError: Connection attributes are only compatible with New Universal login experience.

we have added one more attribute in the database, and we are using classic login, it’s fine in dev tenant, not sure why it’s failing when importing the same configuration to test tenant

Can you provide the version of the Deploy CLI you are using? I found this open GitHub issue discussing this same error, and the team is looking into it. I will reach out internally to that team to request an update as well.

Hi @jai1,

The ticket is still in progress and being looked into, but the engineer recommends disabling the “custom login page” option and try again. Could you give that a go?
