Delegated Administration - Edit User Profile and Assign Membership

I’ve followed the instructions at the following links to setup the delegated administration dashboard:

  1. Delegated Administration Extension v3
  2. Better User Management with the Delegated Administration Dashboard

However, now I want these admins to manage the users - edit user profile, user metadata and assign roles and permissions to them using the extension and UI, but I could not find any way to enable that in the extension.

Is this a limitation of the extension or something by design or am I missing something?

Any help w.r.t. editing users and assigning membership groups, roles and permissions is appreciated.
