Customized Universal Login Templates return undefined when using custom ui

Hello,

I’m trying to use a custom template for one of the login pages in the universal login (passkey-enrollment).

We’re also using a custom page template that I’ve updated via the Page templates API. That works fine for all screens. It includes both {%- auth0:head -%} and {%- auth0:widget -%}

The configuration for the custom screen is as follow:

  • Advanced mode
  • Page template: use custom template (checked)
  • Advanced mode filters:
    • Use custom ui (we’ve applied some branding using the dashboard)
    • Application: specific one
  • Head tags: adapted with the required files after the react screen build

Now, when reaching that page, if NOT using “custom ui” it works, showing my custom screen, but it lacks the branding we’ve applied in the dashboard.

If it IS using “custom ui”, then I can see “the branding” (at least the background image) BUT the body is just “undefined”.

Any help appreciated.

I am sorry about the delayed response to your inquiry!

By any chance, are the Head Tags similar to previous ones you have used in the other customized screens and do you include the same Additional Data or different ones?

Could you share the name of the tenant via a DM so i can check out your configuration if you still experience issues?

Hello Nik,

Unfortunately this is the only advanced customized screen we want to use so I do not have any point of reference.
