Custom client_id when creating new applications

Hi all,

Is there a way to specify a custom client_id when creating new applications via either the Management UI or the Management API?

The docs don’t suggest there is a way to do this but it would be very helpful if that was possible.

Generally speaking custom client IDs are not supported.
