Universal login does not allow configuration of the Apple logo when using the Apple social login, which is black and difficult to see on a dark background.

Workaround
Configure a custom social connection with Apple.
This allows the configuration of the logo/icon used, and a logo/icon can be selected that works with the Universal Login background color.
