Previously we have experimented with additionalSignUpFields on our hosted Lock-page, however we refrained from using them as we did not get them to work.
In this thread Auth0 suggests to not rely on it:

I don’t see any information suggesting they are unusable. Would you please link the direct quote or post where that is suggested so I can investigate further?
