In our application, we have multiple support teams that we granted access to the delegated-administration-dashboard extension in order to resend emails/change emails/delete users etc.
The problem we encountered is that if someone, for example, deletes an user through the extension, there is no way to tell who that someone is. The logs that are generated through the extension can be found in the Auth0 logs, but they don’t have the user property populated, which contains the information of the author of those actions.
We would like to request that this property be populated as it is when an user performs actions in the Auth0 dashboard. Either that or some other way to find out the person responsible for the actions.
Hi @silviu.miron,
Thanks for creating this feedback request!
Let’s hope it attracts as many votes as possible to include the user details in the logs when an action is performed on the Delegated Admin Extension.
Please don’t forget to upvote this feedback.
Have a great rest of your day!
Hello, just a small observation, what we want is to know the user details of someone that performs an action through the extension (for example deletes an user, updates an email, resets a password) and not when someone deletes an extension.
Hi @silviu.miron,
Thank you for the clarification.
I have edited my previous post to reflect the correct request.
If there is any further context to provide, please feel free to attach it to this feedback request thread.
Thanks!
