What are the Account Linking Extension caveats?

I need to implementing account linking, due to this I’m analyzing the possibility of using the Account Linking Extension or rolling my own solution.

I did some research about the Account Linking Extension and discovered some limitations:

  1. Limitation regard passwordless: Does the account link extension support passwordless as primary account? - #4 by konrad.sopala

I would like to know are any other known problems that I may face if I decide to use this extension?
