@jay.zahiri it is still the case that the name field in the root user profile is currently not editable (outlined further in the following documentation:
Normalized User Profiles ). And we would recommend, as mentioned in that thread, to update a metadata attribute (e.g. user_metadata.name) with the name and we can pass this as a custom claim via a Rule. I have put another note, but I do not have antimeline. Should the name field change to allow updating in the future then I will communicate this either in the past threads (if still open) else in a new topic.
